Hans started training dogs in 1965. He moved his club from Hatfield to the present Lynnwood premises of the Boxer Club of South Africa in 1998 where he started giving obedience classes on Monday evenings. In 2004 he started agility training on Saturday mornings. In 2006 Magda started puppy socialisation classes also on Saturday mornings. August 2011 Hans retired leaving us to carry on his fine tradition.

At present we have first a Puppy socialisation class on Saturday mornings at 8:30. The puppy classes start on the first Saturday of every 8 weeks and last for 8 weeks. Puppies are admitted into the class at any age from 6 weeks of age provided they have received their second inoculation. For a detailed description of the contents of these classes see the Puppy page.

The next school is the Beginners Obedience Class. This is held every Monday evening at 18:00 (6:00 PM) and lasts for 1 hour. The classes start on the first Monday of the month and last for 4 weeks. All dogs are accepted for this class from 6 Months of age onwards with no old age limit provided they have received their necessary inoculations. The training covered in this course is a human understanding of pack structure and how to get the most out of your dog. Also how to cure problems experienced with dogs like jumping up and disruptive behaviour, as well as the basic obedience commands
The first months class is FREE for all dogs bought from Wet Nose.

The next school is the Obedience Class. This class is held every Monday evening at 19:00 (7:00 PM) and lasts for 1 hour. ..Acceptance for this class is the completion of a basic Obedience Class. ..The training covered in this class is brushing up of the basic obedience commands as well as more advanced commands and techniques, as well as the beginnings of remote control and working off lead.

The next school is the Advanced Obedience Class. This class is held every Wednesday evening at 19:00 (7:00 PM). ..Acceptance for this class is on merit. This course covers competition work.

The last school is the Agility Class The agility class is held on Saturday mornings starting at 8:30 and lasts for approximately 2 hours. Dogs attending this class must be at least 1 year old and have had at least 6 months of obedience training The training covered in this course is on communication and positioning as well as remote control.

The top priority of all classes is that both owner and dog enjoy themselves.
